I’m so happy and honored some musician such as Stroon, which I respect deeply, give me his music for making an animated video as a release for a demoparty. The track came out in 2016. You can listen to the whole album on Bandcamp or check the live record from Slovak national Radio.
Making of Diary
OK, sun sun sun, preludium - what an interesting word, sun……. OK, let’s make some sun with the help of Make Human
I had this idea that those head pieces can move. So they will be rising and moving from small to big like a sun starts to shine : )
Some reduced colors. Perfect, I wanted to play with this old concept year ago : )
For now, it will be about the sun. How was the star born so black, yellow, red, and white emission?
BTW, new Blender. Glow on world material and ambient occlusion on/off.
Sunna - The Sun in old German language/Norse mythology. Sounds nice as her name.
In my previous works I missed one thing - winking.
I get a shorter version of the track, which is great because I can start to build a timeline. Of course, I’m now a bit stacked and playing with all color combinations and addon positions with a bonus of redoing the doll, because the parenting on hair assets didn’t work as I thought it will be.
Every submission on a demoparty needs a tunnel! : )
S**t is getting serious :D. First, 12 seconds are probably done, after days of only thinking about combinations of colors and poses (I don’t have much free time, so sometimes also easy things are getting slow)
The first scene is done. OK. Another just some beginning… but how to combine them so they continue?….
And here I forgot to take notes and just work on the submission… So some random screenshots/renders below : )
A special thnx to Ondro who helped with the editing!
Watching the compos with style
Big hug and thank you to Filip Beňo, who quickly organized a watching party on his rooftop so I didn’t need to watch compos alone at home :*
Those pretty photos are also from him. Else from my phone/screenshot : )
