It may seem that artificial intelligence is perfect. She knows everything. In a second, search and deliver the result. With the lightness of a feather.
The opposite is often true, and behind simple-looking results can be hours of frustrated input of words (prompts) into her, which, however, spits out results that are different than we expected.
How does it work? There are several types of artificial intelligence, let's talk about the one in which you enter text and create an image from it. The mechanism is much more complicated, but the principle works on the fact that you enter words, something like a recipe. She finds relevant images in her "head" (database) and tries to assemble a new picture from them - a kind of collage to which she adds elements of originality.
They are still developing her and that is why, for example, incorrect numbers of fingers on the hands of generated characters, etc., are no longer visible.
The Bananas series includes images generated by Midjourney artificial intelligence, where I "asked" what new types of bananas would look like. I was expecting new fruit shapes, but this is what I got : ).

This series was exhibited in February and March 2024 in the Akropola Kremnica, the cinema and cultural center of Kremnica.
