What do you feel?
(2024)
Animation as a visual experiment opening questions about your own emotions and AI.
I asked AI to describe what she sees on a screenshot from an old animation I made years ago. I took the text and asked her to generate pictures from that text = prompt. Then I asked a different AI to animate those images. This animation is a result of the footage with a post process.
The projection deals with how few people know how to identify their emotions. In a pulsating age, we are overwhelmed with an extreme amount of information flow at lightning speed and tsunami volume. There is often no space left to sink into oneself.
The animation was created with the help of artificial intelligence.
Music by Arter Eniac & AI.
Does artificial intelligence have emotions? You certainly have them.
How do you imagine her?
What does she look like?
Is she a woman?
Should we be afraid of her?
What do these individual images evoke in you?
Can you name what you actually feel?
Are you empathetic?
And are you really sure that you know how the person closest to you is feeling?
