LEKNO

(2015)

Bringing a piece of nature to the city...
Wrapped in an urban form...
Feeling good and comfortable...
Relieve stress and relax.

The illuminated installation LEKNO is a collection of objects - water lilies lasered from plexiglass shining where you want to feel comfortable and relaxed.

I had a vision... An idea about an evening, when I would sit in the middle of the city, looking at the lights of lamps and buildings in the distance. Surrounded by glowing flowers. In a quiet oasis of peace. Maybe on the roof.

And that's how LEKNO happened. A few days were spent with prototypes. Learning to work with plexiglass. It was supposed to be primarily for gardens, but it turned out that its light can also shine beautifully in the middle of the home too.

No cables, simple, beautiful.

Happening in Bratislava

Galéria Dunaj v Bratislave
DJ Skank

I was happy that I could realize my vision. It was not on the roof of a building with a view of the city but in a beautiful small gallery in the center of the old town of Bratislava - Galeria Dunaj.

In one magical evening, the gallery turned into a chill-out space, where DJ Skank played his relaxing set and you could sit on the grass and enjoy a pleasant evening.

During the event, my friend Pavol Rusnák took care of the electronic connection of the flowers and Tomas Prokopcak started the evening.
